Shanghai local schools closed to curb the spread of the new coronavirus will reopen on April 27, the head of the Shanghai Education Commission said Thursday.
The last years of junior and senior high school will resume on April 27, Lu said.
He said schools should be ready to resume courses in other grades by May 6, with specific time to be announced by each school.
