Three more people in southern Germany have contracted the new coronavirus, who work for the same company, after a man from Bavaria was confirmed to be the first in Germany, the health ministry said Tuesday.
The 33 year old man apparently contracted the virus during a training session with a Chinese colleague on January 21, the Ministry said. Three other patients are being quarantined at a clinic in Munich.
"A total of about 40 employees of the company have been identified as potential close contacts with their Chinese colleagues. As a precaution, people will be tested on Wednesday, "Melanie huml, Bavaria's health minister, said in a statement.
