Cisco Systems (47.47, - 1.38, - 2.83%) announced Monday that Lisa Su, AMD's (49.26, - 1.09, - 2.16%) chief executive, would join its board of directors, Beijing time reported Monday.
It will be the first time that Su Zifeng has served as a director of a company outside the semiconductor industry. She is also a member of the board of directors of AMD, analog devices, the American Semiconductor Industry Association and the global semiconductor alliance.
The appointment will increase Cisco's board to 11 seats.
