President trump said at a meeting in the White House early Monday that he complained to Federal Reserve Chairman Powell about high interest rates in the United States.
"I protested at my meeting with Powell this morning that interest rates set by the Federal Reserve in other countries are too high," trump said on twitter late Monday.
"In fact, our interest rate should be lower than that of other countries (we are the United States). Too strong a dollar will hurt manufacturers and economic growth, "he said.
