According to a survey released by the Asia Association for unlisted real estate investment (anrev) on Tuesday, most real estate professionals believe that China will be the market that will generate the highest total return on real estate investment in the next five years compared with other major investment destinations, followed by the UK, Australia, the US and Japan.
During the annual meeting held by anrev in Beijing this month, 52.9% of the participants believed that China would provide the highest total return on real estate investment in the next five years, leaving Britain (17.2%).
The meeting heard the opinions of many experts from the industry, who agreed that China has many aspects and opportunities, so it is impossible to describe it as a single "China market". In the severe business environment, bond yield is in a negative area, and interest rate is expected to remain at a low level. Speakers and representatives at the meeting agreed that real estate is still attractive, but China needs to adopt the development orientation of "key" industries or cities.
