        Trump announces the death of Baghdadi, head of Islamic state

U.S. President trump announced Sunday that Abu Bakr al Baghdadi, head of the extremist group Isis, had been killed in an attack by U.S. special forces on Northwest Syria, achieving what he called the highest national security goal.
Trump said in a televised speech at the White House that Baghdad Di was forced into the end of a tunnel and then detonated a suicide vest.
Trump said he was identified by DNA tests 15 minutes later.
Hours later, YPG announced that Abu al Hassan al muhajir, a spokesman for the Islamic state known as Baghdadi, had also been killed in another joint operation between Kurds and the U.S. military in northern Syria.
