At present, China's machine tool industry is in a highly open market environment, facing some unprecedented problems and challenges. It is necessary to conduct in-depth research and analysis, make correct judgments, and accelerate the transformation and upgrading of China's machine tool industry. To this end, CITIC Reform and Development Research Foundation invited a number of industry experts on June 25 to hold a "Symposium on the Situation and Problems Faced by China's Machine Tool Industry" and conducted in-depth discussions.
Machine tool industry is the manufacturing industry that provides processing equipment, and is the foundation and core Department of equipment manufacturing industry. Modern NC machine tools integrate traditional industrial technology and modern electronic information technology. With the development of new generation information technology and the upgrading of user needs, product performance is developing towards high-speed, precision and compound direction, and at the same time, it is developing towards networking, intellectualization and environmental protection.
At present, Germany, Japan, Switzerland, Italy and other countries are in the leading position in the field of high-end machine tools. Among them, Japan Fanaco (FANUC) and Germany Siemens account for 50% and 25% of the world market share of CNC system respectively. CNC machine tools can be roughly divided into three grades: high, medium and low. High-grade precision CNC machine tools for processing complex parts are necessary for military production and belong to strategic products. Western countries have long been strictly controlling or blocking China. It is of great significance and urgent task to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of machine tool industry, shorten the gap between international advanced level as soon as possible and realize the autonomous and controllable key technologies.
