Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank President Kashkari said Thursday that he did not think the U.S. economy would fall into recession, but would support another rate cut.
"My basic scenario is that the economy will continue to grow, I don't think it will decline, but downside risks are increasing," Cashkari told the Wall Street Journal.
"If the data continues with the current performance, I will support another rate cut."
Kashkari did not have a vote on monetary policy this year, but participated in the Federal Reserve's policy discussions.
