South Korea's Joint Staff Headquarters said North Korea launched two UFOs into the sea early Tuesday from South Huanghai Road, while the DPRK Ministry of Foreign Affairs protested against the violation of diplomatic agreements by the U.S. -ROK joint military exercises.
North Korea criticized the US-ROK joint military exercises and used high-tech weapons. Since North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un met with US President Trump on June 30 and agreed to restart stalled denuclearization negotiations, North Korea has tested a series of missiles and rockets.
A spokesman for the U.S. Department of Defense said: "We will continue to monitor the situation and discuss it closely with our Korean and Japanese allies."
A spokesman for the DPRK Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement through the DPRK Central News Agency, saying that the DPRK's commitment to solve the problem through dialogue has not changed, but if South Korea and the United States continue to take hostile military action, the DPRK "will be forced to find a new path, as we have already said".
The spokesman said that the arrival of a new U.S. F-35A stealth fighter plane in South Korea, visits by U.S. nuclear submarines to South Korean ports, and U.S. ballistic missile tests forced North Korea to continue its weapons development.
