Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the situation, that executives of at least five U.S. companies plan to meet with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang this week.
Bloomberg said U.S. executives, including Dow Chemical (DOW.N), UPS (UPS.N), Pfizer Pharmaceutical (PFE.N) and Honeywell (HON.N) chief executives, will attend the meeting in Beijing.
China and the United States, the world's two largest economies, agreed to restart trade negotiations. Previously, efforts to resolve a costly trade dispute between the two countries had stalled for a long time. The trade dispute has put pressure on financial markets and affected the global economy.
