President Hassett of the White House Economic Advisory Council told CNBC on Friday that the U.S. gross domestic product (GDP) is still likely to grow at a rate of 3% this year.
"We still expect a 3% increase this year," Hassett said in an interview. He added that there was no indication that tariffs had an impact on consumers.
