British Labor Party business spokesman Long Bailey said on Sunday that the negotiations between the government and the opposition Labor Party to find a consensus on the exit of the European Union have been fruitful, but the government needs to change the red line.

Prime Minister Teresa May and the European Union have been rejected by the parliament three times. She now hopes to reach a compromise with the Labor Party and let the agreement pass in Parliament.

Long-Belle said that further consultations will be held in the coming week. One of the crux is the Customs Union, which calls for a customs union, which the government believes is contrary to its intention to adopt an independent trade policy.

“So far, the negotiations have been fruitful, and we have discussed many details...but the government has not made any adjustments to the red line,” Long-Peley told Sky News. "We hope to see the government make a real and rapid change on the red line issue as soon as possible."

The government hopes that the United Kingdom will leave the EU before May 23. According to regulations, the United Kingdom should participate in the European Parliament election that day.

Lewis, the chairman of the British Conservative Party, said that the government's top priority is not to participate in the election.

“The parliament still has time to pass the agreement so that we don’t have to participate in those elections,” he told the BBC.
