        Japan's sanctions against North Korea will be extended for two years

The Japan Release Association (NHK) reported Wednesday that Japan would extend unilateral sanctions against North Korea for another two years.
According to NHK, Japan's trade embargo on North Korea and the ban on North Korean ships from entering Japanese ports will be extended for two years.
NHK said the Japanese government expects to adopt extended sanctions at a cabinet meeting early next month.
