The official PMI is scheduled to be released at 0900 a.m. on Thursday, February 28, and Caixin PMI is scheduled to be released at 0945 a.m. on Friday, March 1.

BEIJING, Feb. 26 - Reuters'median forecast of 36 analysts shows that China's official Manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) in February is expected to remain flat at 49.5 last month, below the boom and bust line for the third consecutive month. Meanwhile, the median forecast of 25 analysts shows that China's manufacturing PMI in February is expected to rise slightly to 48.5, breaking away from the new three-year low touched last month.
As the leading macroeconomic indicators, the PMI index of the two manufacturing industries stabilized below 50, indicating that construction began to pick up after the Spring Festival in February, but industrial production is still weak.
