Nissan Motor (7201.T) said Thursday it was preparing to hold a special shareholders'meeting in mid-April, voting to oust former chairman Ghosn and former representative director Greg Kelly from the board.
The board of directors stripped the two of them of their representative directorship in November after they were arrested on suspicion of financial irregularities, but Nissan needed shareholder approval to expel them completely from the board.
Nissan said in a statement that the agenda also included the appointment of a new director to be nominated by alliance partner Renault (RENA. PA).
