China's premier Li Keqiang, citing the premier of the State Council on Wednesday, said China agreed to give 200 billion yuan (about $31 billion 360 million) of qualified foreign investors (RQFII) in Japan.
This is the first time that China has given RQFII to Japan. Li Keqiang is currently attending the seventh China Japan ROK leaders meeting in Japan and will make an official visit to Japan to 11.
Li Keqiang, who signed on Tuesday in Japan's Asahi news, said China would sign a bilateral currency swap agreement with Japan and give Japan's RQFII quota; he said when he held talks with Japanese Prime Minister Abe Shinzo that the relationship between the two countries was at a critical stage in the improvement of development and pushed the Sino Japanese relations back to normal orbit.
