Data released on Tuesday showed that China's fuel exports to North Korea were still small in March and did not export corn to the DPRK for third months in a row because of the impact on the sanctions against North Korea's nuclear weapons and missile programs.
Official figures released by the General Administration of Customs show that China has not exported diesel, gasoline and fuel oil to North Korea for the sixth consecutive month. In the past, China was the main supplier of Korean fuel.
The refined oil exported is only 3 tons of aviation coal and 55 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
China has adhered to UN sanctions against North Korea and has not imported iron ore, coal or lead from North Korea for six months. These measures are intended to give North Korea a abandonment of its weapons program.
China has not exported corn to North Korea for the third consecutive month, and only 3 tons of rice exported to the DPRK in the month of 3.
