The World Trade Organization (WTO) said on Thursday that China had sought to negotiate with the US for 50 billion US dollars in Chinese goods on the basis of the US stealing US intellectual property rights, which was the first step in the WTO dispute settlement process.
After knowing WTO, there will be 60 days to settle disputes between China and the United States, otherwise, it will be judged by the neutral arbitration group in WTO.
China on Tuesday condemned the declaration of US $50 billion in tariffs on China's $50 billion commodity, and said "China will take equal and equal measures for us products" and said it would resort to the WTO dispute settlement mechanism.
The US tariff plan is based on the 301st section of the 1974 Trade Law of the United States.
China says such tariffs will exceed the US's restraint rate, which seems to be against the terms of the WTO agreement.
China's prosecution did not raise the so-called amount of trade losses.
China's Ministry of Commerce said earlier on Thursday that on the 5 day, China took 232 measures to import steel and aluminum products in the United States and put forward a request for consultations with the US side under the WTO dispute settlement mechanism to formally start the dispute settlement procedure.
