The growth of Japan's exports in February for fifteenth consecutive months, but growth slowed sharply from the previous month, affected by the Lunar New Year holiday. Because of strong overseas demand, analysts believe it is a temporary slowdown.

"Based on the strong trend of overseas machinery orders and the high confidence of the global enterprises, we think the export prospects are steady," Barclays Securities analyst Yuichiro Nagai said.
Data released on Monday by the Ministry of Finance showed that exports increased by 1.8% in February, equivalent to 1.9% of the Reuters survey. After the January amendment, it grew by 12.3%.
According to the data, exports fell by 2.1% in February compared with the same period in the previous year, for the first time in 13 months.
