Japanese Prime Minister Abe Shinzo said on Wednesday that documents related to the sale of state-owned land this week revealed that neither he nor his wife had been involved in the land transaction.
Andouble and his close ally, Taro Aso, are now facing pressure on land trading. The Ministry of finance this week admitted that it had amended a record of sale of state-owned land, which was sold to the Sanger school, a school operator associated with Mrs. Abe, at a huge discount.
Andouble said in Congress, "if you look at the revised documents carefully, you can know that I and my wife are not involved."
Abe and Ma Sheng said in the Senate Budget Committee on Wednesday that they had never instructed financial provincial officials to modify the document.
