An official on Sunday said South Korea's prosecution will be directed against a political corruption scandal, President Park for President Hui inquiry. An in-office president will be prosecuted for criminal cases, the first time in Korean history.

Prosecutors have questioned Samsung's SAGR.UL boss Lee Jae-mo, the chairman of the Hyundai Motor Group (005380.KS) and HANJ.UL of the Hanjin group, the media reported Sunday.
"Yes, we plan to interrogate the President, but the date has not yet been determined," South Korean prosecutors Office of an official told Reuters.
Yonhap quoted a prosecution official as saying that the inquiry should not be Park Jinhui later than Wednesday.
Park Geun-hui said the Office, the earliest to Tuesday to the prosecution's plan to express their views, is considering a lawyer for the president to hire.
Although several former South Koreans have been involved in family scandals or accusations during their tenure, no one has been directly questioned by the prosecution.
